SK Telecom won the 'CES Best of Innovation Award' in the cybersecurity field with its AI-based mobile financial fraud detection and prevention technology, 'ScamVanguard.'
SKT announced on the 17th that it received the Best of Innovation Award at the 'CES Innovation Awards' announced ahead of 'CES 2025,' the world's largest electronics exhibition to be held in Las Vegas, USA, in January next year.
The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which organizes CES, selects the best technologies or products in various fields that will shine at the next year's CES around November each year and announces the CES Innovation Awards. Among the CES Innovation Award winners, the product or technology that receives the highest evaluation from the judging panel is awarded the Best of Innovation Award.
ScamVanguard is a technology that provides AI-based cyber threat information to detect and respond to various threats that may occur on mobile devices.
Its main features include ▲ bait message detection and notification based on deep learning architecture ▲ AI bot-based SNS fraud prevention ▲ machine learning-based fraud call pattern detection and identification.
Since its commercialization in October, it has been utilized in A.Dot Phone's spam and voice phishing suspicious call alerts, the identity verification service 'PASS,' and the spam filtering service of the 'Chatting+ PC version.'
