Previously, monitoring personnel directly checked CCTV footage to detect abnormal signs, but the new system enables AI to detect and analyze these signs in real time. Accordingly, monitoring personnel only need to review the analysis results, which reduces blind spots in safety management and dramatically improves work efficiency, the city explained.
The city added that with this system, various integrated control functions such as ▲Video Management System (VMS) ▲Geographic Information System (GIS) ▲Dashboard are provided within a single system, saving time and costs and allowing flexible response to future system expansions.
The city plans to automatically store and analyze AI video analysis results as big data to identify issues in specific areas in real time and utilize them for establishing customized safety policies.
