Paju-si, 2nd Public Participation Event at Dahamkke Care Center
Happy Care for the Whole Family
Full of Fun Activities Including Family Movie Screenings and Experiences
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 15th that it will hold the 2nd Public Participation Project "Care that Makes the Whole Family Happy," hosted by the Gyeonggi-do Childcare Paju Center, at the Unjeong Happiness Center Grand Theater from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM on the 23rd.
This event was prepared to reflect on the role and value of childcare within the local community and is aimed at children using the Dahamkke Care Centers and citizens. The city has prepared various programs such as family movie screenings, experience centers, and exhibitions so that all family members can enjoy and share the value of care.
The main event will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Key programs include a choir performance by children using the Dahamkke Care Centers, a happiness care vision presentation ceremony, and a family-friendly movie screening of "Mother's Land: Grisha and the Forest Owner."
Additionally, the "Anabada Market," where items donated by children and parents from 14 Dahamkke Care Centers in Paju will be collected and sold, and the "No to Abuse, Yes Together" promotional campaign in collaboration with Paju's child protection agencies will be held.
The Dahamkke Care Centers are social welfare facilities that provide regular and temporary care, experiential activities, learning and play programs, and meal services during vacations for elementary school students aged 6 to 12, regardless of income level. Currently, Paju City operates 14 Dahamkke Care Centers, including the Gyohanoeulbit Village Dahamkke Care Center, and plans to open an additional center in Haeoreum Village 9 Complex in December.
