View original imageThe Korea Gas Safety Corporation announced on the 15th that it held the '2024 National City Gas Representatives Winter Safety Measures Meeting.'
The meeting, held in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea City Gas Association, and 34 city gas companies nationwide.
At the meeting, the Corporation explained the 2024 city gas safety management promotion and institutional improvement trends, as well as the transition to a digital-based autonomous safety inspection system in the city gas sector. SK E&S shared the excellent case of on-site safety management in city gas, titled 'Current Status of City Gas Risk-Based Patrol Inspections.'
Representatives of city gas companies pledged to thoroughly prevent the recurrence of gas accidents through the introduction of advanced safety management systems and technologies, expansion of safety investments, and rigorous safety management to prevent gas accidents. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Gas Safety Corporation also agreed to actively promote policy support necessary for the city gas industry.
