Special Zone Foundation Achieves 'Contract and Export' Success Supporting North American Market Entry
Special zone companies achieved tangible results in contracts and exports through support for North American market entry.
The Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Special Zone Foundation) announced on the 14th that it participated in the Global Technology Commercialization Support Project Performance Sharing Meeting held at the Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce in Irving, Texas, USA, and created achievements such as signing Proof of Concept (PoC) contracts, export performance, and establishment of local subsidiaries through the North American market entry support program.

The performance sharing meeting was attended by four special zone companies including BK Energy Co., Ltd. and Narma Co., Ltd., along with 11 local innovation institutions, venture investors, and buyers, where they shared PoC results, held company presentations, and conducted business meetings.
In particular, this event was meaningful as it laid the foundation for local market entry through demand discovery centered on the local chamber of commerce, demand-based matching with special zone companies, and tailored close support throughout the entire PoC cycle including transportation, installation, and operation of testbed products.
For example, EMCity Co., Ltd., a mobile facility control service company among the participating firms, established a strategic partnership with a local demand source after PoC, laying the groundwork for entry into the North American market.
Additionally, BK Energy Co., Ltd., which provides solar power generation devices, achieved a remarkable export contract worth 6 million USD in the United States.
