Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends 'Sharing Love Kimchi-Making' Event
On the morning of the 13th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the 'Sharing Love Kimchi Making' event hosted by the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation at Junggye Neighborhood Park.
This kimchi-making sharing event was organized to deliver warm sharing to low-income households in the area ahead of winter. About 150 people, including representatives from 38 social welfare organizations and volunteers, participated in the event, helping with preparing kimchi ingredients, making kimchi, and packing boxes.
The kimchi made that day totaled 935 boxes (9,350 kg), which will be distributed in 10 kg portions to low-income households through the social welfare organizations that participated in the event.
