EVE Advanced Materials Reports Operating Profit of 1.5 Billion KRW in Q3... Turned to Profit Compared to Previous Year
EV Advanced Materials announced on the 13th that its consolidated operating profit for the third quarter turned positive to 1.499 billion KRW compared to the same period last year. Sales increased by 30.0% during the same period to 22.852 billion KRW. On a separate basis, sales and operating profit were 20.043 billion KRW and 400 million KRW, respectively.
This performance improvement is attributed to the improved results of Actvision, a transparent display business, and the increased sales and orders of FPCB for electric vehicle batteries.
In particular, as the autonomous vehicle market rapidly grows, the demand for in-vehicle electronic components is increasing, and various sensors and communication systems are used, making FPCB an essential application.
