Intellian Technologies Obtains Certification for Compact Series of Flat Antennas for Low Earth Orbit Services
Global satellite communication solutions company Intellian Technologies announced on the 13th that it has obtained official launch certification for its low Earth orbit (LEO) flat panel antenna compact series products from Eutelsat-OneWeb, and will begin full-scale sales in the global market.
The products being launched utilize Eutelsat-OneWeb's low Earth orbit satellite network flat panel antennas. The new products consist of three types: fixed (OW10HL), mobile (OW10HV), and maritime (OW10HM), and can be used on various platforms such as internet services, autonomous driving, unmanned vehicles, and ships.
The flat panel antenna products shipped since the second quarter of this year have been supplied to Eutelsat-OneWeb and have successfully passed rigorous tests in extensive field environments worldwide. They have obtained official launch certification to be sold in conjunction with the OneWeb global satellite network. This enables the use of Intellian Technologies' flat panel antennas anywhere in the world.
The officially certified OW10 series offers easy installation and high user convenience with its compact size (56 x 45 x 12 cm), lightweight design, and efficient power consumption, boasting superior performance compared to competing products. It can be utilized in various service environments such as terrestrial cellular backhaul support, network improvement for autonomous vehicles, emergency response, and maritime network operations.
Sung Sang-yeop, CEO of Intellian Technologies, said, “We are pleased to introduce Intellian Technologies' innovative flat panel antenna products to global customers using Eutelsat-OneWeb services through this official launch certification,” adding, “Various low- and medium-earth orbit flat panel antennas for civilian and military use are under development, and we will lead the market with our technological superiority in flat panel antennas.”
