Korea Post Headquarters Hosts 'Industrial Safety and Health Best Practices Presentation Contest'
The Korea Post Headquarters announced on the 12th that it held the '2024 Industrial Safety and Health Best Practice Presentation Contest' at the Chungnam Cheonan Postal Talent Development Center.
On this day, 12 offices selected through preliminary screening by direct agencies and each regional postal administration presented their best practices implemented from last year to the first half of this year, followed by a Q&A session.
The best practices were presented on topics such as risk assessment, investigation of musculoskeletal harmful factors, work environment measurement, and on-site inspections related to safety and health prevention activities.

View original imageThe grand prize was awarded to Mokpo Post Office for presenting "Safety and Health Improvement Activities through Risk Assessment at Island Post Offices." Additionally, Wonju Postal Distribution Center, Seoul Guro Post Office, and Daejeon Postal Distribution Center received excellence awards, and eight offices including Jeju Postal Distribution Center received encouragement awards.
Cho Hae-geun, head of the Korea Post Headquarters, said, "The Korea Post Headquarters prioritizes the safety and health of its employees," and added, "We will continue to spare no support to ensure that post offices and postal distribution centers can solidly promote safety and health activities to prevent accidents and diseases."
