Enhancing Fairness in Prospective Franchisee Screening... Paris Baguette Introduces AI Interviews
Pilot Operation Until October
Full Implementation Starting This Month
Replacing Competency Tests and Face-to-Face Interviews
Paris Baguette announced on the 13th that it has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) system into the startup screening process for prospective franchisees.
During the franchise startup consultation process, Paris Baguette conducts interviews to determine whether the prospective franchisee's aptitude aligns well with the brand's industry characteristics, business philosophy, and direction. In this process, the company plans to enhance the objectivity and fairness of the screening by adopting an AI system, as well as shorten the time required to improve convenience for prospective franchisees.

View original imageThe AI interview system for prospective franchisees consists of two parts: ▲ a 'competency test' that replaces the existing aptitude and personality tests, and ▲ an 'AI interview' that replaces face-to-face interviews. It can be conducted anywhere in a quiet place without location restrictions. After accessing the link sent from the Paris Baguette Startup Support Center and completing the procedure, submissions are made automatically.
From July to October, Paris Baguette operated the AI interview alongside the existing face-to-face method on a trial basis, and after sufficient analysis and improvements, it has been fully operating with the AI interview since this month.
The newly introduced AI interview system for prospective franchisees was developed in collaboration with the AI technology company "Muhayu." This AI system incorporates Muhayu's natural language processing technology, voice processing technology, and vision processing technology.
