Daehan Chemical, Successful Commercialization of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polypropylene
Daehan Chemical announced on the 12th that it has succeeded in commercializing ultra-high molecular weight polypropylene (UHMWPP) for the first time in the world and has officially started sales.
UHMWPP is a thermoplastic with a molecular weight of over 1.5 million polypropylene, possessing higher heat resistance and strength than conventional polypropylene.
Daehan Chemical expects UHMWPP to be applied in a wide range of fields such as separators for lithium secondary batteries, special clothing, industrial parts, automotive parts, and various equipment components.
