Yangju-si, Application for 2025 Organic Fertilizer Support Project Open Until the 10th of Next Month
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 12th that it is accepting applications for the 2025 Organic Fertilizer Support Project until December 10.
This project was established to promote the resource circulation and recycling of agricultural and livestock by-products, preserve the soil environment through organic matter supply, and realize sustainable agriculture.
Applicants must be agricultural management entities registered with agricultural management information, and only registered farmland can apply. Applications can be submitted by visiting the Happiness Welfare Center in the jurisdiction of the town, township, or neighborhood where the farmland is located.
The supported fertilizers include three types of organic fertilizers (mixed oil cake, mixed organic matter, organic compound fertilizer) and two types of matured organic fertilizers (livestock manure compost, compost). Organic fertilizers are supported at 1,600 KRW per 20kg bag, and matured organic fertilizers are supported at differentiated rates ranging from 1,300 KRW to 1,600 KRW depending on the grade.

A Yangju City official stated, “We ask applicants to check their agricultural management registration information and apply within the deadline. We will continue to promote this project to reduce the management burden on farms and enable the production of high-quality agricultural products.”
