Minister Cho explained, "The first Trump administration was the first US administration to actively promote the Indo-Pacific strategy," adding, "The free and open Indo-Pacific order and alliance relationships emphasized through the Indo-Pacific strategy by the Trump administration largely coincide with the diplomatic stance of the Yoon Suk-yeol government."
