Gwangju City to Host 2024 Gwangju Environmental Book Concert
Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) announced on the 12th that it will hold an environmental book concert at Gwangnam Library from 3 PM to 9 PM on the 28th.
This event is promoted as part of environmental education to respond to the climate crisis and includes an invited lecture by Tyler Rash, the author of the excellent environmental book selected by the Ministry of Environment, "There Is No Second Earth," as well as eco-friendly experience programs, busking performances, and environmental book curation.
Additionally, the first 70 participants who bring a tumbler and pledge to practice carbon-neutral living through the climate action challenge will be provided with one drink at the first-floor book cafe.
The book concert is free for all Gwangju citizens to participate in, and pre-registration for Tyler Rash’s invited lecture will be available on the Gwangju City website starting on the 13th. Other programs can be freely experienced on-site.
