Gyeonggi-do Strengthens Safety Management at Railway Construction Sites in Preparation for Winter
Dobongsan~Okjeong Line Sections 1, 2, and 3 Inspected by Joint Task Force Including Gyeonggi Province, Construction Management Team, and Contractors by the 20th
As winter approaches, a season with a high risk of safety accidents such as cold waves and fires, Gyeonggi Province is stepping up safety management at railway construction sites.
From the 11th to the 20th, Gyeonggi Province will form a joint inspection team with the Construction Project Management Group and contractors to conduct winter safety inspections at railway construction sites. The inspection targets are three railway construction sites in the Dobongsan-Ogjeong Metropolitan Railway Sections 1, 2, and 3, which are directly managed by the province.
The joint inspection team plans to focus on guiding and inspecting the safety of temporary structures, the status of emergency temporary power usage, vulnerable facilities on site such as fire and suffocation risks, and measures to ensure the quality of wet concrete work during winter.
Minor issues found during the inspection will be immediately corrected, and for matters requiring mid- to long-term review, safety management plans will be submitted and continuously monitored until resolved to ensure thorough safety management.
