The Career Development Center at Dongmyung University evaluated the achievements of nine career club teams participating in the Build-Up Project and the Self-Directed Career Competency Enhancement Program, part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's customized employment service for enrolled students. The outstanding teams awarded were ▲Bamnyangdaeng (Grand Prize, Department of Companion Animal Health) ▲Dodamdodam (Excellence, Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology) ▲Kkun (Encouragement, Department of Companion Animal Health), among others.

View original imageThe grand prize team, Bamnyangdaeng, actively engaged in various activities such as a companion animal employment camp, volunteer work at the Busan Animal Protection Center, institutional visits (National Institute of Ecology, Tongyeong Cat School, Wildlife Treatment Center, etc.), and interviews with professionals, exploring various major-related careers and filming experiential vlogs.
Team leader student Minju Lee said, “Through the career club program, I learned about various career paths after graduation, which I believe will greatly help in setting my career direction.”

Dongmyung University conducted the Self-Directed Career Competency Enhancement Program, part of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Build-Up Project for customized employment services for enrolled students, from June to October over five months. The program targeted nine departmental career clubs composed of first- and second-year students. Participating students engaged in self-directed activities such as career exploration and experiential activities, career special lectures, and team mentoring to design concrete career plans.
