CJ Logistics 3Q Operating Profit 141.6 Billion KRW... 14% Increase YoY
Smooth Sailing in Contract Logistics and Overseas Sectors... Productivity Enhancement Effects
CJ Logistics achieved an operating profit of approximately 140 billion KRW in the third quarter of this year, showing double-digit growth compared to the same period last year. The Contract Logistics (CL) division delivered solid performance, and the increase in e-commerce volume also contributed.
CJ Logistics announced on the 8th that it posted provisional consolidated sales of 2.9758 trillion KRW and an operating profit of 141.6 billion KRW for the third quarter of this year. These figures represent increases of 1.3% and 13.5%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Net profit was recorded at 60 billion KRW, up 3.9% during the same period.
By division, sales from the parcel delivery and e-commerce business reached 898.2 billion KRW, maintaining a similar level to the same period last year. Operating profit was 54 billion KRW, down 3.1% compared to the same period last year, affected by domestic demand slowdown and expanded fulfillment promotions.
Sales in the CL division increased by 6.2% year-on-year to 768.4 billion KRW. Operating profit also rose 15.8% during the same period to 51.2 billion KRW. This is attributed to attracting numerous third-party logistics (3PL) clients based on logistics consulting and enhancing cost competitiveness through productivity innovation projects.

The global division achieved sales of 1.0985 trillion KRW, up 4.2% year-on-year, driven by expanded forwarding margins and increased cross-border e-commerce (CBE) volume. Operating profit reached 28.2 billion KRW, an 83.1% increase during the same period.
