Gangseo-gu to Host 'Small Business Festival' on the 11th
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) will hold the ‘Gangseo-gu Small Business Owners Festival’ at Magok Square on the 11th.
This event was prepared to celebrate Small Business Owners Day, designated on November 5th, to encourage small business owners who are the main players in the local economy and to open a venue for revitalizing the local economy. The event will feature a flea market operated by about 20 small business owners from Gangseo-gu, awards for meritorious small business owners, and performances.
The flea market, starting at 10 a.m. on the day, will have sales booths, food booths, and consultation booths. Small business owners from various industries such as food companies, supermarkets, and beauty salons will participate in the sales booths, where visitors can purchase products and also experience beauty services. Free consultations will be provided for small business owners visiting the event, including support for startup, management, and tax consultations.
Awards for meritorious contributors to the revitalization of the local economy and congratulatory performances are also prepared. The congratulatory stage will feature a 70s and 80s DJ performance, trot music, and acoustic guitar singer performances. This event is organized by the Gangseo-gu Small Business Owners Association, which was launched in June last year.
District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "Small business owners are the foundation of the local economy. When small business owners thrive, the local economy also thrives," and added, "We will do our best to prepare support policies that can empower small business owners."
