Guro-gu's First Art Fair with 'Zero Artwork Commission and Venue Fee' Opens
Art Fair 95 Exhibition Held at Gallery Guruji from November 12 to 30
Featuring 19 Local Artists... 55 Works of Painting, Sculpture, and Design on Display and for Sale
Guro-gu has launched a special promotion for local artists.
The district announced that from November 12 to 30, ‘Art Fair 95,’ hosted by the Guro Cultural Foundation and sponsored by Guro-gu, will be held at Gallery Guruji.
This exhibition is the first attempt at an art fair-style exhibition for local artists. In particular, with the district’s active promotion and the participation of artists within the district and those working with Guro-gu as their backdrop, the largest-ever local cultural and artistic festival is expected to unfold.
The exhibition will be held with no commission fees on artwork sales and no venue rental fees.
This will help local artists exhibit, promote, and sell their works, while providing residents with a special opportunity to purchase and own artworks.
From September 25 to October 23, the district recruited artists to participate in the exhibition across various visual arts including painting, crafts, sculpture, installation, and design, and finally selected 19 artists through an external expert review.
As a result, a total of 55 diverse works including paintings, sculptures, designs, digital illustrations, and crafts will be exhibited and available for sale during this exhibition.
During the exhibition period, anyone can freely visit and purchase artworks from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with no separate closing days.
