LabGenomics Participates in Korean Dementia Association Autumn Conference... Promotes One-Stop Dementia Treatment Platform
LabGenomics announced on the 5th that it participated in the Korean Dementia Association Autumn Academic Conference together with Imocog and PeopleBio.
The event was held on the 2nd at the Baekbeom Kim Koo Memorial Hall in Seoul. The program included sessions on ▲digital biomarkers for early diagnosis of dementia ▲lectures on early diagnosis and treatment of dementia using artificial intelligence (AI) ▲recommendations for the appropriate use of lecanemab, a new treatment for Alzheimer's disease, providing time dedicated to overcoming dementia.
Imocog and PeopleBio, who attended alongside LabGenomics, promoted an innovative platform that quickly and easily screens early-stage dementia such as subjective cognitive decline (SCD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI) through positron emission tomography (PET) scans and digital bio technology, and enables antibody treatment. The goal is to provide a one-stop solution from early-stage screening to accurate diagnosis and treatment.
A company representative said, "It is meaningful to present our solution through the conference amid the increasing number of dementia patients and the rising social and economic costs caused by it," adding, "We will strive to meet market expectations by strengthening cooperation with partner companies and presenting new platforms."
