Attendance at the '2024 Yangju-si Lifelong Learning Festival'
Yang Soo-hyun, Mayor of Yangju City, attended the '2024 Yangju Lifelong Learning Festival' held on the 2nd at the 'Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center' in the jurisdiction and delivered a congratulatory speech.

On the 2nd, Kang Su-hyun, mayor of Yangju City, attended the ‘2024 Yangju Lifelong Learning Festival’ held at the ‘Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center’ in the district and announced on the 3rd that they will do their best to provide open lifelong learning opportunities that leave no citizen behind and to create a ‘Lifelong Learning City’ that leads the future.
With the theme of ‘Sustainable Learning, Steps Toward a Happy Tomorrow,’ the event was attended by about 1,000 people including Mayor Kang Su-hyun, event officials, and citizens.
The event opened in earnest with a pre-performance by a popera group, followed by awards for contributors to the activation of lifelong learning in Yangju City and a spectacular LED touch performance.
In addition, about 23 booths operated simultaneously, including lifelong learning and club achievement exhibition booths, lifelong learning-related institution promotion booths, lifelong learning program experience booths, VR experiences, and photo booths. Various programs directly planned by related institutions, including the Yangju Lifelong Learning Center, such as musical instrument and dance performances, were showcased, receiving great responses from participating citizens.
