Samsung Electronics recorded the highest sales market share in the Indian smartphone market in the third quarter of this year.
According to the sales market share of the Indian smartphone market in the third quarter of 2024 recently announced by market research firm Counterpoint Research, Samsung Electronics had the highest share at 22.8%.
Samsung Electronics ranked first in sales market share in the third quarter of this year, following the third quarter of last year. This year, it recorded 22.8%, an increase of 0.2% compared to last year (22.6%).
Apple ranked second with 21.6%. Chinese brands Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi ranked third to fifth with 15.5%, 10.8%, and 8.7%, respectively.
Counterpoint Research emphasized that Samsung's sales market share expanded particularly due to strong sales of the Galaxy S series.
