49-Day Schedule Planned for Fuel Replacement and Preventive Inspection
Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: Lee Seyong) announced that "Hanul Unit 2 (Pressurized Water Reactor, 950 MW class) stopped power generation at 10 a.m. on November 1 and began the 25th planned preventive maintenance scheduled for about 49 days."

During the planned preventive maintenance period, Hanul Unit 2 will perform equipment improvements such as fuel replacement, undergo statutory inspections according to the Nuclear Safety Act, and after confirmation of compliance by regulatory agencies, will resume power generation upon receiving operational approval from the Nuclear Safety and Security Commission.
