Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 30th that it held the "10th Culture and Education Policy Strategy Meeting" in the mayor's office on the 29th to discuss policies for establishing Uijeongbu as a culture and education city.
Seventeen participants, including Mayor Kim Dong-geun, the Director of the Culture and Learning Bureau, and heads of related departments, discussed ▲ directions for establishing a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry base ▲ customized psychological support services to promote youth mental health ▲ development plans for Uijeongbu Astronomical Observatory to become a tourist attraction.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun stated, "We will strive to implement policies that citizens can feel as a culture and education city."
