Pyeongtaek City Launches Network for Companies in 'Semiconductor Specialized Complex'
Domestic and International Companies Invited to Investment Attraction Event Held
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province has embarked on building a corporate network for the semiconductor specialized complex with the goal of becoming the 'World Semiconductor Capital.'
On the 30th, Pyeongtaek City announced that it held the 'Semiconductor Specialized Complex Foreign Investment Company Invitation Investment Attraction Event' on the 29th at Korea Albak Technology, Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus, and JNJ Art Convention Center.
At the "2024 Semiconductor Specialized Complex Investment Cooperation IR" held at the Pyeongtaek JNJ Art Convention Center, representatives of participating companies are pledging cooperation for the development of the Pyeongtaek semiconductor industry.

Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Investment Council for Materials, Parts, and Equipment (KITIA), the event invited 11 foreign semiconductor companies and local materials, parts, and equipment (MP&E) companies from the Pyeongtaek area.
At the event, Pyeongtaek City introduced the investment environment of the local semiconductor industry and established business networking between domestic and international companies.
The event was attended by companies such as Ibiden Graphite, the world’s number one in semiconductor packaging substrates (FC-BGA), and Multiproject, a manufacturer of semiconductor equipment parts and automation solutions, as well as semiconductor companies from Japan, Poland, and the United States.
The foreign companies toured the Korea Albak Technology Center and Samsung Electronics Pyeongtaek Campus and inspected the Pyeongtaek Brain City General Industrial Complex site. At the JNJ Art Convention Center, the '2024 Semiconductor Specialized Complex Investment Cooperation IR' program was also held. The event facilitated communication for technology collaboration and joint investment by allowing domestic MP&E companies within the semiconductor specialized complex and the visiting foreign companies to introduce their technologies and products.
