Yangju-si to Host the '2024 Lifelong Learning Festival' on the 2nd of Next Month
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 29th that it will hold the "2024 Lifelong Learning Festival" at the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center on November 2nd.
Under the theme "Sustainable Learning, Steps Toward a Happy Tomorrow!", this festival will feature an exhibition of lifelong learning club achievements, a pre-event performance by a popera group, followed by an LED touch performance to officially mark the opening.
Additionally, in the underground auditorium, a special one-day lecture titled "Conditions of Happiness" will be held as part of the "Yangju City Happiness Special Lecture." The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Kim Jung-woon, a cultural psychologist and director of the Institute for Various Issues, who will explain in an easy and entertaining way what it takes for modern people to live life joyfully.
At the event venue, various experience and promotional booths will be available, including VR experiences, a life photo booth, face painting, and more, suitable for all ages. Special events, talent-sharing performances by clubs, and cultural performances by magicians and singer-songwriters will also be offered as side events.
