Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Emphasizes 'Residents' Mental Health' at Mental Health Day Event
On the morning of the 29th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the seminar room of Mapo Central Library where the 2024 Mental Health Day event was held.
Hosted by the Mapo District Mental Health Welfare Center, the event featured Zumba performances and choir by center members, a lecture by author Iraha, who wrote "Morning Comes to the Psychiatric Ward," and discussions aimed at improving awareness of mental illness.
On that day, author Iraha explained to about 200 residents attending the lecture the misconceptions and truths about depression, as well as prevention methods.

Mapo District operates various programs and services for the mental well-being of its residents, so we ask for your interest and participation."
