Yeosu City Receives 'Minister's Commendation' in Ministry of the Interior and Safety Disaster Management Evaluation
Special Local Tax Secured 89 Million Won... "Committed to Building a Safe City"
Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) announced on the 29th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's '2024 Disaster Management Evaluation,' securing a ministerial citation along with a special grant of 89 million KRW.
The Disaster Management Evaluation, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, is the highest comprehensive evaluation in the disaster field that assesses the previous year's performance of disaster management responsible agencies. This year, it analyzed and evaluated 44 indicators across 6 categories targeting central government ministries (29), public institutions (66), and local governments (243).
Yeosu City was selected as an excellent institution in the '2024 Disaster Management Evaluation' and received a commendation from the Minister of the Interior and Safety.
