Yangju City is conducting the "2024 Training Course for Licensed Real Estate Agents (Affiliated)" aimed at establishing a sound real estate transaction order for licensed real estate agents operating (affiliated) within the jurisdiction. The training is being held on the 23rd and 24th at the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center Auditorium.
Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 28th that it conducted the ‘2024 Training Course for Licensed Real Estate Agents (Opening/Affiliated)’ over two days on the 23rd and 24th at the main auditorium of the Gyeonggi Textile Comprehensive Support Center. The training targeted licensed real estate agents operating within the city to establish a sound real estate transaction order.
The training is a legally mandated education that licensed real estate agents must complete every two years. It was held separately for agencies located in Baekseok, Eunhyeon, Nam-myeon, Gwangjeok, Jangheung, and Yangju-dong on the 23rd, and for those in Hoecheon-dong and Okjeong-dong on the 24th. A total of approximately 560 participants, including those from outside the city, attended.
A real estate expert instructor was invited to provide education on ▲ real estate brokerage-related laws ▲ prevention of real estate transaction accidents ▲ practical real estate tax procedures. Additionally, active participation was encouraged in the ‘Safe Jeonse Checkpoint Campaign,’ part of the public-private joint Gyeonggi Safe Jeonse Project.
This training is expected to contribute to the establishment of a safe brokerage culture and the protection of citizens’ property rights by enhancing the professional capabilities of local licensed real estate agents and providing trustworthy brokerage services to citizens using local agencies.
A city official stated, “We hope this will be an opportunity to establish a transparent and fair real estate transaction order by strengthening the practical skills of licensed real estate agents and preventing brokerage accidents such as Jeonse fraud.”
