On the 28th, Incheon Airport announced that Kanotshak Airlines will operate the Incheon?Tashkent regular route twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) starting from that day. The flight duration is 7 hours and 45 minutes.
Kanotshak Airlines is a new Uzbek national airline operating 5 domestic routes and 10 international routes. This is Kanotshak Airlines' first service to the East Asia region with its inauguration at Incheon Airport. With this new service, the number of airlines operating flights to Tashkent from Incheon Airport has increased to three.
The airport authority explained that this is the result of selecting Central Asia as a strategic route to secure an air network connecting Central Asia and East Asia, along with continuous support for increased traffic rights and local promotional marketing activities.
