One Dead in Vehicle Fire After Retaining Wall Impact at Namyangju Moran Tunnel
Around 3:10 a.m. on the 28th, a passenger car driven by a man in his 50s, Mr. A, crashed into the central divider on the Seoul-bound road near Moran Tunnel in Hwado-eup, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi Province.

Immediately after the accident, a fire broke out in the vehicle, and Mr. A was unable to escape and died at the scene. The fire was extinguished by firefighters who arrived following a witness report within about 10 minutes.
The accident is reported to have occurred when the vehicle, just exiting the tunnel, collided with the concrete central divider.
