Damyang County (Governor Lee Byeong-no) announced on the 28th that it operated the '2024 Visiting Safety Experience Classroom' for about 200 kindergarten and elementary school students in cooperation with Damyang Fire Station during the traditional food festival held in Changpyeong-myeon over two days from the 25th to the 26th.
The Visiting Safety Experience Classroom is an experiential safety education program conducted by visiting areas lacking related experience facilities to eliminate blind spots in safety education, and it has been fully implemented since 2023.
This year's safety experience classroom operated two fields of experience: traffic and fire safety. The fire extinguisher experience and the three-dimensional (3D) traffic safety program received great responses from participating students.
