Namyangju City Newsletter 'THE Namyangju' Achieves 88% Citizen Satisfaction Rate
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced the results of the 2024 city newsletter "THE Namyangju" satisfaction survey conducted from the 1st to the 20th on the 28th. This survey was conducted targeting newsletter subscribers and citizens, and will be used as basic data for the production of the 2025 newsletter.
A total of 4,677 people participated in the satisfaction survey, with 88% of respondents expressing satisfaction. Satisfaction with content, design, font size, and length also exceeded 85%, indicating a very high overall satisfaction level.
Participants selected the section "Namyangju Now," which introduces projects that are current issues in Namyangju, as their favorite content. Regarding the newsletter format, 75% preferred the mobile version over the booklet form. Additionally, 69% of respondents gave positive feedback on the audiobook newsletter, which began publication in February.
Going forward, the city plans to diversify the content and composition of the newsletter by reflecting citizens' opinions.
Park Sun-young, the Public Relations Officer, said, "We appreciate the high satisfaction of the citizens, and we will improve any areas that need supplementation based on the survey results and provide more useful and substantial news."

The city newsletter "THE Namyangju" is provided monthly in booklet, mobile webzine, and audiobook formats, and is available at public institutions such as town and township community centers, libraries, and sports and cultural centers. Namyangju citizens who wish to subscribe for free can apply online through the city website or by phone through the Public Relations Office's City Promotion Team.
