Goyang City Hosts Ecotourism Program 'DMZ Peace Trail Walk Goyang'
Goyang Tourism Information Center~Daedeok Ecological Park~Janghang Wetland~Nadeullaon Course
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 25th that it will conduct the program "Walking the DMZ Peace Trail in Goyang," which connects the ecological tourism resources of the Han River Estuary, the Nadeullaon rest area on the DMZ Peace Trail, and the barbed wire path, from November 2 to November 16.
This program was planned to experience the beautiful natural scenery and unique ecological resources of the Han River Estuary and to raise awareness of the importance of peace and safety in nature and the DMZ. Participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis, with 20 people per session.
The course starts from the Goyang Tourism Information Center and passes through Daedeok Ecological Park, Janghang Wetland Birdwatching Tower, and Nadeullaon. Participants will have the opportunity to walk along the barbed wire path from Janghang Wetland Birdwatching Tower to Nadeullaon and learn about the historical significance related to the DMZ and the importance of ecosystem protection.
