Busan Bank Sole Participant in Twice Announced Safe Deposit Designation Application... Four-Year Term Starting January Next Year
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yun-su) has selected Busan Bank as the educational office treasury to deposit and manage the special education expense account budget and funds for four years starting in 2025.
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education announced the treasury designation application twice on August 12 and September 20, and Busan Bank was the sole participant.
Subsequently, at the treasury designation review committee held on the 24th, after reviewing and evaluating the proposal, Busan Bank was selected as the financial institution designated as the educational office treasury.
The committee evaluated the proposal based on the financial institution's credit rating, loan and deposit interest rates, convenience for education service users, treasury operation management capability, contribution performance to educational institutions, and cooperative projects with the educational office.

Busan Metropolitan Office of Education plans to finalize the next treasury through internal procedures and sign an agreement with Busan Bank. Thereafter, Busan Bank will deposit and manage the special education expense account budget and funds for four years starting from January 1 of next year.
