Gyeonggi-do to Host 'Gyeonggi Village Community Festival' at Former Provincial Office on the 29th
Gyeonggi Province will hold the ‘2024 Gyeonggi Village Community Festival’ on the 29th at the new building of the former Gyeonggi Provincial Office in Paldal-gu, Suwon City, where village communities and village activists will gather to communicate.
A village community is a resident group or nonprofit organization based on autonomy and trust that jointly considers and solves village or local issues on its own. Gyeonggi Province supports various village community support projects.
This event serves as a platform to share excellent cases and achievements of village communities. This year, under the slogan ‘A Happy Village for Residents, A Happy Gyeonggi for Villages,’ 20 teams recommended by each city and county and passing a document screening will participate.
Gyeonggi Province will livestream the event through the Gyeonggi Village Community Support Center’s YouTube channel and determine the final rankings through the evaluation of an audience judging panel.
Side events include ▲ village community activity exhibitions ▲ photo and record zones ▲ cultural performances ▲ and an awards ceremony.
