The Highest Amount Among Members of the National Assembly in the Busan Area
On the 23rd, Kim Dae-sik, a member of the National Assembly's Education Committee (People Power Party, Sasang District, Busan), announced that he secured a special grant of 3.976 billion KRW from the Ministry of Education for regional education issues in the second half of the year.
This amount is the highest among the special grants secured by members of the National Assembly from Busan.
The secured budget will be used for comprehensive auditorium repairs, corridor window replacements, floor repairs, and rooftop waterproofing at four schools in Sasang District, including three elementary schools and one high school.
The special grants per school are 1.209 billion KRW for Dongju Elementary School, 1.192 billion KRW for Guhak Elementary School, 1.013 billion KRW for Juyang Elementary School, and 562 million KRW for Busan Aviation High School.
The Ministry of Education provides special grants from the local education finance grants when regional education issues arise that cannot be captured by the existing financial demand calculation methods.
With this grant, the Northern Busan Office of Education will conduct design services early next year and begin construction during the summer vacation period.
