At the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's main conference room on the 22nd, Lee Sang-sook, a member of Yeoju City Council, received the Legislative Award in the Basic Council Member category at the 3rd Dasan Jeong Yak-yong Legislative and Administrative Awards Ceremony.
The Yeoju City Council in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 23rd that Councilor Lee Sang-sook was honored with the Legislative Award in the Basic Councilor category at the '3rd Dasan Jeong Yak-yong Legislative and Administrative Awards Ceremony' held on the 22nd in the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly's main conference room.
This awards ceremony was held to commemorate Dasan Jeong Yak-yong and to encourage outstanding legislators and administrators who practice service for the people by embodying his spirit of serving the people and reformist politics. The event celebrated a total of 39 awardees, including Councilor Lee Sang-sook and Mayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju City.
Councilor Lee Sang-sook has been dedicated to enhancing citizen welfare and advancing policies for the elderly and youth through active legislative activities. In particular, she played a significant role in making Yeoju a better place for young people to live by enacting a total of 18 ordinances she proposed, including the 'Ordinance on the Creation of a Youth-Friendly City in Yeoju.'
