On the 23rd, the Korea Expressway Corporation Yangpyeong-Icheon Construction Project Group announced that it donated 3,325,000 won in cash on the 21st in Chowol-eup, Gwangju City.
The donated funds will be used for special neighbor-helping projects in Chowol-eup for vulnerable groups in the area through the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.
Lee Sang-soon, head of the Korea Expressway Corporation Yangpyeong-Icheon Construction Project Group, said, "I hope this will be of some help to the underprivileged in the region," and added, "I hope the donation will contribute to making the community a better place to live."
