Gwangju City to Host the 2nd Youth and Young Adult Festival on the 26th
Gwangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 22nd that it will hold the "2nd Gwangju Youth and Young Adult Festival" at the City Hall WASBE Plaza on the 26th.
Hosted by Gwangju City and organized by the Gwangju Youth Center and Gwangju Young Adult Support Center, with support from the Gyeonggi-do Gwangju Hanam Office of Education, this festival is held to create a space where youth, young adults, and all citizens of Gwangju can come together to communicate and unite.
On the day of the event, from 2 PM to 8 PM, 65 diverse experience booths will be operated, including hands-on booths run directly by youth and young adults, a career fair, and booths from related organizations. Additionally, congratulatory performances will be held by the Gyeonggi-do Gwangju Hanam Office of Education’s "Midam Youth Wind Orchestra," Gwangju Donghyeon School’s "Hyangrim Angel Handbell Ensemble," and the Gwangju Youth Center’s "Youth After-School Academy Choir," along with singers "Woody" and "Class of ’21," and 20 youth and young adult clubs lighting up the stage.
Furthermore, the youth festival planning team and young adult planning and promotion team, composed of Gwangju’s youth and young adults, are actively participating in the overall planning and promotion of this festival, making it a more meaningful event reflecting their fresh and creative ideas.
