Increase in Orders for Chinese Passenger Aircraft
Growing Opportunities for Our Companies to Enter the Chinese Market
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA announced that they will hold the '2024 Korea-China (Han-Jung) Aircraft Parts Supply Chain Entry Consultation Meeting' in Tianjin, China, jointly with Gyeongnam Technopark from the 21st for two days to expand exports of domestic companies' aircraft parts to the Chinese market.
Eight major Chinese aviation companies, including subsidiaries of China Aviation Industry Corporation (AVIC) and Tianjin Boeing Composite Company (BTC), will participate in this consultation meeting. Seven representative domestic aircraft parts manufacturing companies will participate in fields such as ▲surface treatment technology ▲parts assembly ▲composite materials.
Aircraft maintenance is being conducted in the hangar of Tianjin Haite Aviation Engineering, an aircraft maintenance (MRO) company located in the Tianjin Airport Economic Zone.

Before the consultation meeting, domestic companies participated in the Korea-China aviation company exchange meeting jointly prepared by the KOTRA Tianjin Trade Center and Tianjin Airport Economic Zone, having networking time with Chinese companies. They also visited the Tianjin High-Tech Aircraft Engineering Factory to observe the aircraft modification process and enhance their understanding of the current status of aircraft production in China.
