On the 18th, Pohang City held a personnel committee meeting and approved the promotion of six Grade 5 administrative officers.
This personnel appointment focused on securing momentum for the second half of the 8th elected term and successfully advancing current projects. By job category, there are three administrative officers, one tax officer, one social welfare officer, and one facility officer.
Notably, this personnel appointment highlights the remarkable advancement of capable female public officials.
Among the six promoted officers, four are women, accounting for approximately 70%. Among the 38 candidates approved for Grade 5 promotion this year, 11 are women, reflecting the gradual disappearance of the glass ceiling within the public service.
