The performance, held at the Seosan City Culture Center, was themed "Stop! Virus Man!" and aimed to spark children's interest in handwashing.
The story follows a careless child who doesn't wash their hands properly and becomes ill after Virus Man enters their body. Then, two characters, Careful and Healthy, appear and teach children how to protect themselves from germs.
Before and after the show, a photo zone was set up, and a magic show was held, receiving a positive response from the participating children.
Kim Yongran, head of the Seosan City Public Health Center, said, "We prepared this performance to teach children about handwashing habits for infectious disease prevention in a way that suits their perspective," and added, "We will continue our efforts so that children can learn proper infectious disease prevention rules and develop the ability to protect their own health."
Meanwhile, the event was held in celebration of Global Handwashing Day. Global Handwashing Day is designated by the United Nations on October 15 every year to promote handwashing habits.
