"Growing Up Dreaming of Art"... Ulsan Office of Education to Host Ulsan Education Culture and Arts Festival
From 18th to 24th, Over 3,000 Students from 80 Schools and 4 Teacher Art Clubs Participate
The Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) will hold the "27th Ulsan Education Culture and Arts Festival" at the Ulsan Student Education and Culture Center from the 18th to the 24th.
This arts festival provides a valuable opportunity for local students to showcase their artistic talents, develop creative expression skills, and communicate with the local community.
More than 3,000 students from about 80 elementary, middle, and high schools in the Ulsan area, along with 4 teacher art clubs, will participate to present a variety of performances.
Held annually, the Education Culture and Arts Festival is led by Ulsan students who actively participate to share their artistic achievements and offer citizens various opportunities to appreciate them.
Various events such as art exhibitions, stage performances, and art experience programs are prepared, with special and planned performances running even at night on weekends. In particular, on the 20th, a special planned performance combining opera and musical will be held, offering the audience a unique artistic experience.
On the 19th, opening ceremonies for the performances and exhibitions will be held separately. The performance opening ceremony, held at 2 p.m. in the Grand Performance Hall, will feature collaborative performances and videos by students and teachers. The exhibition opening ceremony, held at 4 p.m. in the first-floor exhibition hall of the Student Education and Culture Center, will provide time to appreciate the works along with explanations by participating students.
Throughout the festival, various school choirs and orchestra teams from the region will present beautiful harmonies centered on classical music.
From the 18th to the 20th, 20 experience booths covering various themes such as art, convergence art, environment, and health will operate in outdoor spaces. Street performances led by students will also be held, providing enjoyment to visitors.
