Yuseong-gu, Daejeon Sets 2025 Living Wage at 11,650 Won... Up 3.9%
Monthly 2,434,850 Won... Applied to About 900 Fixed-term Workers
Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, announced that it has set the 2025 living wage at 11,650 won, a 3.9% increase from this year.
This is 16.1% (1,620 won) higher than the 2025 minimum wage (10,030 won). Employees working 8 hours a day, 209 hours a month, will receive 2,434,850 won.
The increased living wage will be applied from January 1 next year to approximately 900 temporary workers directly employed by Yuseong-gu.
Jung Yongrae, Mayor of Yuseong-gu, said, "We decided on the living wage after comprehensively considering various factors such as the minimum wage, inflation rate, workers' cost of living, wages of similar workers, and our district's financial situation. We hope that the application of the increased living wage will help stabilize the lives of workers, even if just a little."
