On the 16th, Sacheon City in Gyeongnam announced that it held the '2024 Municipal Innovation and Proactive Administration Capacity Building Workshop' for 80 employees at Namildae Resort.

This workshop was organized to induce proactive administration that citizens can tangibly experience amid changes, cultivate a voluntary innovation mindset, establish a competitive organizational culture, and provide opportunities for communication among employees.
Choi Deok-rim, a senior public official who led the legend of Suncheonman and a specialist instructor in proactive administration at the Ministry of Personnel Management, explained everything about the Suncheonman Garden Expo under the theme of proactive administration "WHY? HOW?"
He introduced the process leading to the present Suncheonman Garden Expo as a case of proactive administration, delivering a case-centered special lecture based on many years of practical experience, which resonated with public officials.
In particular, a performance to overcome passive administration was held with Vice Mayor Kim Seong-gyu and outstanding proactive administration public officials from the first half of the year, along with a unique talk program where participants anonymously expressed and communicated their thoughts on proactive administration and innovation by writing on paper airplanes, receiving great responses.
