Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is offering a "Reemployment Career Planning & Resume Interview Lecture" to strengthen the employment capabilities of middle-aged and older adults.
This special lecture is designed to assist middle-aged and older adults seeking jobs. It targets experienced individuals in their 40s to 60s or those who have taken early retirement, providing key secrets for successful reemployment.
The training consists of a rich curriculum combining theory and practice. First, it teaches proper career planning tailored to individual characteristics. Resume writing reflecting the latest trends and mock interviews are also conducted to help participants develop practical skills.
After completing the lecture, employment counseling will be linked through the Gwangjin-gu Job Center.
The first session will be held on October 21-22, and the second session on November 20-21 at the Gwangjin Economic Hub Center Doyak Hall. The training is free of charge and will run for 5 hours each day starting at 10 a.m.
Residents of Gwangjin-gu aged 40 to 65 who are motivated to find employment can participate. However, only job seekers registered with the Gwangjin-gu Job Center are eligible. Each session will accept 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications for the first session are due by the 17th of this month, and for the second session from November 6 to 15.
