‘Joy of Running Together’... Mapo District Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournament Filled with Enthusiastic Cheers
On the morning of the 13th, Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the Mangwon Yusuji Soccer Field where the 48th Mapo District Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournament was held.
Hosted by Mapo District and the Mapo District Sports Council, and organized by the Mapo District Football Association, the tournament was attended by about 1,000 players, officials, and residents.
The opening ceremony of the day proceeded in the order of the return of the championship trophy, awarding of commendations to contributors by Mayor Park Gang-su, and an encouragement speech. In the matches that followed, participating players showcased their skills with a seriousness comparable to professional athletes, engaging in intense competition.
