Dong-gu, Daejeon Sets 2025 Living Wage at 11,400 Won... Up 3.4%
Applicable to Workers in Dong-gu Starting January Next Year
Dong-gu District in Daejeon announced on the 11th that it held a Living Wage Committee meeting in the district office's main conference room and set the 2025 living wage at 11,400 won per hour.
This is a 3.4% (380 won) increase from this year, and based on a monthly working time of 209 hours, it amounts to 2,382,600 won per month.
The district plans to apply the newly decided living wage from January 1 to December 31 next year to workers in Dong-gu (excluding those in government-supported jobs for the vulnerable and those already earning above the living wage).
Park Heejo, head of Dong-gu District Office, said, "We hope that this decision on the living wage will help improve the stability and quality of life for workers in Dong-gu."
