Nam-gu, Gwangju announced on the 8th that it will expand facilities such as braille blocks to provide convenience in using unmanned civil service issuance machines for disabled people and residents in the district.
Nam-gu will newly install braille blocks and help bells by November at unmanned civil service issuance machines installed in the district to enable socially vulnerable groups such as the disabled, elderly, and residents to conveniently use civil administrative services.
The district operates 28 unmanned civil service issuance machines, including 3 at the Nam-gu General Office, 17 at the administrative welfare centers of each dong, Gwangju Christian Hospital, and 8 other locations with high foot traffic.
Braille blocks will be provided around 24 unmanned civil service issuance machines for the convenience of disabled users, and help bells will be installed simultaneously at the 17 administrative welfare centers of each dong.
